To guarantee safe and controlled operation, special importance is attached to the monitoring of the gears, especially for greater performances.

Optimum lubricating conditions for the gear teeth and the bearings are only possible in a specific temperature range. Limit monitors and temperature sensors are employed to monitor the oil temperature.

The simplest way to monitor the oil level is via the oil level gauge which can be expanded by special level controls with or without switching functions.

Cooling

The cooling is designed according to the gear size and the required performance. If gear performance demands the installation of a pump with plate heat exchanger or external cooling units further monitoring devices for pressure, flow rate, temperature, soiling, etc. can be fitted.
